Pressure Lubricated, PL-Series
The PL-Series compressor has been designed to operate in extreme duty applications and is a pressure-lubricated alternative to the R-Series unit. Because the PL-Series can operate up to 250 psig in remote locations or in off-level operations, it is a true industrial use compressor. The PL-Series features domed pistons, integral cylinder head, disc valves and an oil pump that provides lubricant to all crucial parts of the compressor.

RECIPROCATING PISTON COMPRESSORS
Atlas Copco Compressors has developed a new line of portable piston compressors ideal for light industrial use, applications within the vehicle service market, as well as a wide range of construction applications. The new KT Range is a Contractor Series that provides compressed air in a portable package while offering incredible durability to withstand the daily wear-and-tear that hard-working professionals expect and demand from their equipment.
“Providing dependable compressors for a diverse base of customers and industries remains our primary focus,” said Robert Eshelman, Vice President of the Industrial Air range for Atlas Copco in the U.S. “We developed these products using our time-tested and proven technology that complements what we believe is already one of the most expansive ranges on the market.” The KT Range Contractor Series features seven new electric and gas-powered models, delivering up to 25.3 cfm at 100 psi, in a low-profile design complete with a semi-pneumatic wheel. Each model is made in the United States and ready for quick and easy distribution to customers. Electric models range from 1.5 to 2 horsepower and include special features such as a start-stop pressure switch control, a fully enclosed belt guard, tank drains and a discharge valve. The gas-driven models provide additional power, ranging from 5.5 to 12.75 horsepower, and offer additional features beyond those included with the electric models, including engine slowdown (pilot valve) and low-oil level engine protection.
ATLAS COPCO KT RECIPROCATING COMPRESSORS
Atlas Copco Compressors is launching the AR series, a new line of two-stage reciprocating piston compressors that maximize durability and dependability. Featuring a compact design, the AR series provides customers with an economical piston compressor option without compromising reliable delivery of compressed air.
The Atlas Copco AR series of air compressors feature a hybrid cast iron and aluminum design that deliver up to 7.5 horsepower; while the 10 horsepower design features a pump constructed entirely of cast iron.
“We’re finding that our customers are increasingly diversified in their operations and, accordingly, they require a wider variety of options to ensure that their air compressors continue to provide them with optimal performance,” said Robert Eshelman, vice president Industrial Air for Atlas Copco Compressors, LLC. “Our new AR compressor series continues to provide the reliability and performance that customers have come to expect from Atlas Copco.”
The AR compressor series is produced at Atlas Copco’s manufacturing facility in Rock Hill, S.C. The compact design of the AR series, with a range of 5 to 20 horsepower, allows more economical operations that produce 15.3 to 70 ACFM at pressures of up to 175 psig. And every model comes complete with a two-year warranty.
The AR series is ideal for use in workshops, automotive body shops and other light industrial applications. Design variations allow users additional flexibility with a variety of configurations that include horizontal or vertical tank mounts, a duplex horizontal tank mount, and a gas-driven tank mount. The block unit is available separately for OEM applications and can be combined with a choice of drivers.
ATLAS COPCO AR RECIPROCATING COMPRESSORS
Atlas Copco Compressors has introduced two new piston compressor product ranges that deliver outstanding performance matched with maximum efficiency. Capitalizing on a combination of computer-aided design, computer-controlled machining processes and heavy duty cast iron construction, the new LS and LP Series two-stage compressors deliver up to 175 psig with 24/7 reliability.

The LS Series two-stage splash-lubricated compressor combines a one-piece aluminum head, which optimizes strength and dissipates heat, with an innovative valve design that provides outstanding volumetric efficiency. These features make the LS Standard ideal for industrial, automotive and commercial applications requiring up to 175 psig.
The LP Series two-stage pressure-lubricated compressor is engineered to deliver reliable results for applications that demand a continuous flow of compressed air. It produces 175 psig, is rated at 100 percent duty cycle and features a stainless steel valve design that delivers the highest volumetric efficiency in the marketplace. These features ensure high reliability and energy savings for the most demanding industrial, automotive and commercial applications.
With industry-leading CFM per brake horsepower, both the LS and LP Series compressors are available in a full-range of horsepower increments from 5-30 horsepower. Both the LS and LP Series compressors are virtually maintenance free, with easily accessible components.
